I connected the separate updater board—not an Xteink reader—and verified its chip and flash size.

Connect and install

Use Chrome or Edge. Connect the updater board directly with a USB data cable. If automatic download mode fails, hold BOOT, tap RESET, release BOOT, then retry.

Prepare your reader’s SD card

Download the latest global (English) firmware and public stable CrossPoint release together.

Xteink reader model

Extract the ZIP and copy both .bin files to the reader’s SD card. In Escape Hatch, choose Flash Firmware and select the firmware you want. Each filename includes the reader model and version.
